Tiree's finest feature is its beaches. There are over a dozen white sand beaches around the circumference of the island ranging in size from 10m or so, to the 4km long horseshoe of Gott Bay, overlooked by the hotel.

Endless white beaches and dramatic headlands, making for wonderful walks, sand castle building and picnics. Unlike the mainland, Tiree’s beaches are never crowded, in fact almost deserted by mainland comparison, wide open spaces which are a welcome contrast to the hustle and bustle of ordinary life.

Tiree is also famous for its windsurfing, kite surfing, sand yachting and many other sea activities, thanks to these endless sandy bays, the longest of which is almost 3 miles from end to end.
