Whats on, and forthcoming events in Tiree

Annual events such as the Agricultural Show in July and the summer Regatta attract not only the visitors but also all the locals.

Cattle and Sheep sales are also important features on the calendar. The Tiree 10K has become a popular event helping to keep everyone fit and raise money for a good cause.

The Feis is a week long festival of Gaelic music in July where all age groups perform. Piping and traditional music have always been strongly associated with Tiree and continue to be popular with the young and not so young.

Ceilidhs are held in the local Community Hall particularly during the summer season. Tiree has several very well known musical groups who make regular appearances and attract the crowds and get everyone up dancing!

The Wave Classic is held every October when the world’s best wind surfers compete against each other. The 6 day event gets dedicated world-wide TV coverage.
